Democrats nationwide are campaigning hard on abortion, and Florida Democrats are no exception. In fact, with the possibility of the Republican-led state legislature imposing a ban on abortion, Florida Democrats are encouraging women to seek abortions in other states. A tweet this week by the Florida Democrats account claims that "Ron DeSantis' extreme abortion laws are already endangering women who've had to leave Florida to find the care they need."

Because of this, they have "designed pamphlets for escaping Ron's laws on abortion (PERLA) to help women find resources and safe care."

The first page has a list of abortion-friendly states, many of which are blue. The second claims that "women who suffer miscarriages would be in grave danger." This, of course, is false. Abortion and miscarriages are two different things, the former being intentional and the latter being unintentional and spontaneous.

Granted, miscarriages are sometimes referred to as "spontaneous abortions," but this is beside the point.

This is despite the fact that most Americans are in favor of restricting abortion access in most capacities, few are willing to support abortion after 15 weeks' gestation barring instances of rape, incest, and the life of the mother.

As inflation continues to skyrocket, and as a economic recession is almost certain to occur, Democrats have gone all in on abortion this election cycle.

A recent poll now shows that abortion is not one of the top issues that Americans are concerned with less than three weeks until they head to the polls. Absentee ballots have already been mailed out.
